Bitsens has continued experimenting with Augmented Reality technology and created more than 20 unique and attractive AR masks for Facebook and Instagram.

Solution

Apart from creating Augmented Reality mobile applications (Zlobsters, PortUp, The Floor is Lava, Christmas in Durham), Bitsens decided to go beyond and explore a new way of AR technology implementation – Augmented Reality face filters on social networks. The work results in 28 AR masks created by Bitsens for own social accounts as well as for celebrities’ ones.

With the growing popularity of AR mask in the second half of 2019, Bitsens can’t ignore the appearance of new digital technology and join the AR movement on Instagram and Facebook. Starting from simple and primitive filters like Bitsens’s Birthday, Nasa, Volkswagen fan and Lithuanian flag, Bitsens has shown its master skills with Lighting, Sun, Tribe, Silver, Triangle, Shape and other masks. Interactive backgrounds, logos, ornaments, metallic effects, 3D models were applied. Bitsens’s masks can be used not only on the face, but with a camera switch, AR objects appear in a real world. Moreover, Bitsens has a chance to collaborate and create a fascinating Neophyte mask for a Belarusian artist Jura Shust, charming and authentic masks for popular music band “Shuma” and sport masks for a professional football club “BATE” reflecting their team’s colors and for Cypriot football club “Pafos” with their official logotype. All of the masks were created with the help of Spark AR Studio.
